PXD043942

PXD043942 is an original dataset announced via ProteomeXchange.

Dataset Summary
TitleTemporary specific alternations in the nascent proteome of HEK293T cells in response to mitochondrial stress induced by carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenyl hydrazine
DescriptionThis dataset elucidates the remodeling of the nascent proteome before and upon global translation attenuation in response to transient mitochondrial depolarization by carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenyl hydrazine (CCCP). During and following CCCP treatment, nascent proteome in short (30min) time windows was metabolically labelled with L-azidehomoalanine (AHA) using the BioOrthogonal Non-Canonical Amino acid Tagging (BONCAT) methodology. AHA incorporation sites were further derivatized with biotin-PEG4-alkyne by click chemistry upon cell lysis, proteins were digested with trypsin, nascent biotinylated peptides enriched and quantified.
