Update publication information. Riemerella anatipestifer can cause infectious serositis in ducklings with high mortality. Vitronectin acts as a complement regulator and plays a role in the terminal pathway of complement activation. It is a widely used strategy for Gram-negative bacteria to capture vitronectin to the surface of bacteria to inhibit complement activity. Therefore, we used duck vitronectin as bait protein, and screened the outer membrane protein of R. anatipestifer which can interact with duck vitronectin by pull-down assay, looking for the complement escape protein of R. anatipestifer, and laying a foundation for the prevention of R. anatipestifer.
