Update information. we used highly sensitive mass spectrometry diaPASEF (parallel accumulation serial fragmentation combined with the data-independent acquisition)27 to quantify proteins of exosomes derived from umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UCMSCs) and rat bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs). 4206 human proteins and 5341 rat proteins were detected from UCMSC exosomes and BMSC exosomes, respectively. From these proteins, we identified the core proteome of exosomes which is common to UCMSCs and BMSCs. In addition, we identified two exosomal proteins which can be used as the potential marker for differentiation ability of BMSCs. In summary, the exosomal quantitative proteome presented by this study can serve as a valuable resource for further fundamental and biomarker researches of exosomes.
