A total of 80 cows were selected from 0 to 30 days after parturition, and α-tocopherol concentration in plasma of 80 cows was detected. According to the concentration of α-tocopherol in plasma, subclinical VE deficiency group (2-3 μg/mL α-tocopherol) and healthy control group (>4 μg/mL α-tocopherol) were determined. Finally, thirteen cows were used as subclinical VE deficiency group (QF), and 14 cows were used as healthy control group (BQF) for proteomics study.
