Scleroderma is a chronic connective tissue disease characterized by skin thickening and plaque morphea, as well as hard, shiny skin. Serious involvement is observed from the superficial dermis down to the fascia and muscle. However, this condition is difficult to treat and evaluate. In this study, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived 3D epithelial and mesenchymal organoids were used for localized scleroderma therapy.
