Updated project metadata. Recent studies have revealed the physiological significance of post-translational lysine acylations in regulation of various cellular processes. Lysine succinylation is one of recently discovered post-translational acylations. To understand the distribution of lysine succinylations in five representative bacteria: Geobacillus kaustophilus, Thermus thermophilus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, and Rhodothermus marinus.
